The single lever mixer offers superior comfort to the user, as it is easier to select the desired temperature while at the same time allowing for water and energy savings.
Water and energy saving is implemented with the ZA00810000 kit control device which can be fitted on all mixing valves.

The temperature control device

Cisal mixing valves can be fitted with a temperature limit device. This device, consisting of a ringnut fitted into a special toothing in the upper part of the valve, makes it possible, when correctly positioned, to reduce the travel of the handle in the hot water area with consequent drop in maximum temperature.

The purpose of this accessory is to prevent accidental scalding in the event of very high hot water temperatures (75?- 80?- 90ºC). The limit device offers four different settings. The user can determine which position provides the maximum water temperature. (Table A)

The flow rate control device

The flow rate control device is located in the control stem of the mixing valve. Water usage is reduced by limiting the lever opening radius with the stem positioning (Table B). User can save water easily and, in the meantime, he can reach the maximum flow rate, if needed, just pushing stronger the lever, overcoming the limit position.

The considerable water saving becomes more evident, once analysing the application of the kit on single lever mixers installed in an apartment (hydraulic plant with average dynamic pressure of 2 bar) in which a 4 person family lives (Table C).
