Cisal's mixing valve for the single lever mixer is produced in two versions. The internal 

components are the same. The only difference is in the diameter of the external casing, 

43mm for one cartridge (small ceramics mixing valve) and 51.5mm. for the other one 

(large ceramics mixing valve).

Although there is no difference between the two versions of the mixing valves, the 

procedures to replace the ceramics mixing valve are difference.
The steps to replace the small ceramics 

mixing valve


(Small mixing valves are suitable for most cisal

mixers. These include Arcana Royal, Artu, Merlino, 

Eos, Eos2, Zen, Europa, Futurity and Clinic)

Easy Steps to replace the small ceramics mixing valve

1. a) Remove the cisal index (Part no. 1)

b) Use a Hexagon Key to release
the screw (Part no. 2) inside the
hole

c) Pull up the lever handle

2.  Pull up the escutcheon cartridge 
(Part no.4).

3. Use a Groove Joint Pliers to hold the
Hexagon Nut (Part no.5) and rotate the Pliers in anti-clockwise direction
(Shown in Fig.) to release the nut.

4. Remove the old ceramics mixing valve and install the new one into the suitable place. 

   

Attention:  If the mixing valve is installed properly, it cannot rotate freely.

It is only need to follow the above steps to re-combine the parts after replacement of the 

mixing valve.

Easy Steps to replace the large ceramics mixing valve

1. Remove the cap (Part no. 1)

    

          

2. a) Use the screwdriver to release the screw (Part no. 2)
b)  Pull up the lever (Part no. 3)

   

3. Pull up the escutcheon cartridge 
(Part no.4).
      
4. a) Use the screwdriver to release the screw (Part no. 5)
b) Remove the old ceramics mixing valve (Part no. 6) and install the new one into the suitable place.    
     
   
Attention:  If the mixing valve is installed properly, it cannot rotate freely.
