PRESSURE SHOCKS (Water hammer). The sudden closing of the tap with the lever actioning of the mixer, together with a bad hydraulic plant may cause water shocks (water hammer) which attain 40/50 bars, compromising this way the mixing valve tightness and at the same time the single lever mixer. The mixing valve resists to the pressure shocks up to 60 bars thanks to the particular technical awareness adopted through the project and production plan, protecting the consumer from unpleasant inconvenience. MATERIALS. Control rod in brass, constant control of the roughness of the surface of the ceramic discs, plastic materials with high mechanical characteristics, which resist to high temperatures and all completely recyclable, in conformity to the new EEC regulations which regard envinronment, health care and security, special silicon innocuos greases.
